A large part of preparing for participatory historiography is collecting the historical data that can then be worked on.
The goal would be to make this data accessible within the same game dynamics through LOD search engines.
Since there are currently no such engines, at least to be really useful in this context, a lot of manual work is still needed.
Here are some examples that I used in my thesis on the Republic of Zurich in the 19th century.
An example for a population database:

For the management of very large and complex sets of people and corpora, we recommend the GRAMPS tool.
It allows creating a very complex genealogy, associating each text with one or more people and / or events, including visual material, links and additional information.
