Introduction
The methodology used for participatory historiography is a complex set of different methods that are applied according to the phase of the project and the technological level used in its development.
- Dramatica. Dramaticamethodology and method are used for the literary analysis of texts.
- Spindle. Spindle is the relational database that connects the corpus data with the researcher's interpretation.
- Asuwada. Asuwada is the method of energizing groups that participate in a specific historiography project.

For the objective analysis of the texts, the Dramatic methodology of Phillips and Huntley is used.
As I define in the thesis work:
"
Dramatica is a tool for creative writing and literary criticism, which defines a universal framework and dynamics for the story writing process that base the structure of the story on a theory of the universal structure of the mind (KEM Huntley, 2014; MA Phillips, 1997) ".
The authors of Dramatica,
Melanie Ann Philips and
Chris Huntley, describe Dramatica as a complete theory that describes a particular class of stories:
Grand Argument Stories (Stories with a Main Argument or Great Argument). These stories explore a thematic plot in a comprehensive or complete way. This describes most narratives, but specifically excludes certain types of experimental writing and other writing traditions that suspend or violate the conventions of the
Grand Argument Story. However, most of the narrative conforms to the Big Plot model, or subsets of that model (Phillips & Huntley,
nineteen ninety six).
Philips and Huntley represent
stories as models of the human mind. More specifically, they are models of the activity of the human mind as it
struggles to resolve an inequality, anomaly, or gap of some kind. They describe a scenario in which one of our prehistoric ancestors encounters a predator during a hunting campaign. This is a conflictive showdown. Someone has to concede. Our ancestor has two basic options: he can change and the world can remain fixed, or the world can change and she can remain fixed. The central categories are the self and the world, stasis and change (as also examined by Strickland, 1989).
The
ASUWADA project uses:
"an extensive and complex set of terms, extracted from common language, and establishes the bases for the methodological approach of this study, especially guiding the process of structural coding and the discovery of the dynamics of the game".
As Dramatic is a very broad theory and has a very complex practical application, I have designed a blog with specific resources in Spanish, as a reference and support.
